Since 1981
Gateway Christian School, as an extension
of Gateway Christian Ministries, has been assisting parents
as they train up their children in the way they should go.
Currently we teach preschool all the way through Grade 12.
We uphold Christian values while maintaining
a high academic standard. Being a smaller school really
gives us the opportunity to really get to know each of our
students and find what they need to learn & grow. We enjoy
a strong "school spirit" where students interact
well with each other and with their teachers. We are blessed
with an exceptional staff. All our teachers are
fully certified and meet or exceed provincial education
standards. More importantly, our teachers & staff
believe in the importance of Christian Education, are
actively involved in their home churches, and have a
real and meaningful faith in Christ.
Your child's education, physical well being, and spiritual
growth are very important to us. To this end we offer open
classroom learning, and special electives like drama, music,
art, sports, multimedia and much more. In all
areas of
education, the Christian worldview is the the position taken
while teaching
each topic. Each morning begins with a time
of prayer & devotion led by the homeroom teachers. We also
hold weekly chapel assemblies as well other special events
to encourage spiritual growth & Christian character.
Scripture memory
is a requirement for students of all ages.
Many of our students have gone on to pursue exciting &
challenging careers in medicine, law, athletics, business,
Christian Ministry, journalism, world missions, aviation,
forestry, and much more. Our prayer is that together with
Christian parents, we can train up well educated young
people who are grounded in their faith, ready to face the
world & change it!

Could I climb to the highest place in Athens,
I would lift my voice and proclaim, "Fellow citizens, why do
you turn and scrape every stone to gather wealth and take so
little care of your children to whom one day you must
relinquish it all?"
